How do these products compare with Lantor Soric® grades?

They are offered as alternatives to corresponding Soric® grades and nominal thicknesses: PM to XF, PS to SF, PT to TF, and PX to LRC. We recommend reviewing the TDS and validating samples in your own resin system, laminate, and infusion process before production use.

Yes. The product line is suitable for closed-mold marine applications including hulls, decks, and other boat and yacht structures. The cores are compatible with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, phenolic, and epoxy resins. For cosmetic surfaces, PT’s thin and conformable construction may help reduce fabric print-through, depending on the laminate and process.

The cores include built-in 0.5 mm flow channels and are designed to function as both core material and resin-distribution medium. Depending on the part geometry, laminate, resin viscosity, and infusion strategy, this may reduce or eliminate the need for separate flow media. Process validation is recommended.

The cores are listed as compatible with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, phenolic, and epoxy resins. Maximum processing temperature depends on the grade: 170°C for PS, 175°C for PM, and 180°C for PT and PX. Customers should confirm suitability for their specific resin, cure cycle, and laminate.
